Toothtime is a business name in the Republic of Ireland, registered to F.X. O’Brien, a general dental practitioner, in Galway. The practice was founded in 1943 by F.X. O’Brien, B.D.S, N.U.I, at Victoria Place, Galway, and is carried on today by his son, F.X. O’Brien, B.Dent.Sc, U.Dubl, at Forster Street, Galway. The name is derived from the practice logo (a registered trade mark), which represents the clocks that hang in our waiting room and surgery. The clocks were executed to our own design by Mike Weerakoon, an artist in steel and other materials working in Galway. The colour pictures on this site are details from the works of Kelly McEntee, except for the diptych over the "useful and interesting websites"which is "Intersection I" 2006-7 by Kevin Mooney (http://www.kevinmooney.org/). All of these works hang in the practice. The black and white illustration is taken from a set of prints which have hung in the practice since its foundation.
